"Ворождень" is a Ukrainian psychedelic music group formed in 1998 by Volodymyr Kuchynskyi and Viktor Mahomet. The band's name, initially written as "ворож день," translates to "sorcerer's day." Their debut performance took place on November 11, 1998, at a memorial concert in Kyiv. Over the years, the lineup evolved, with members like Oleksandr Naumenko and Tetiana Fruktova joining. In 2000, they released their self-titled debut album, followed by "Kvitень" in 2002. The band's music blends elements of folk and rock, creating a mystical and acoustic sound. They have participated in various Ukrainian festivals, including "Chervona Ruta '99" and "Rock-Acoustics 2000." In 2003, internal disagreements led to a brief disbandment, but they reformed in 2004 with a new lineup. Since then, "Ворождень" has focused more on studio work, establishing their own recording studio, Vorozhbyt Recording Group. Their discography includes several albums, such as "Pogana Krov" (2005) and "Mistyka" (2005).
