"ВАН-ГОГ" is a Ukrainian synth-pop band formed in March 1995 in Sambir by Vasyl Pavlyk and Ihor Dobryanskyi. The band's name, "Va'n'Gog," was derived from their names, Vasyl and Goga. After Vasyl's departure in 1996, the name changed to "One Gog." The group released several albums, including "S.O.S." (1996), "Ekstra-Klas" (1997), and "Kontrasty" (1998). They gained popularity with songs like "Ne vidlitai" and "Zroby tak," which had music videos aired on "Terytoriya A." The band received multiple awards, such as laureate diplomas at the "Pisennyi vernisazh" festival in 1996 and 1997. In 2000, they won at the "Pisnya roku" radio festival. After a hiatus, "VAN-ГОГ" resumed performances in 2018, releasing the album "Renovation" that year. In 2020, they participated in the "Disco of the 80s" festival in Kyiv. The band's lineup has evolved over the years, with Ihor Dobryanskyi remaining a constant member. ([uamusic.com.ua](https://uamusic.com.ua/biography/van-gog?utm_source=openai))
