"Таліта Кум" was a Ukrainian pop-rock band formed on April 13, 2001, with lead vocalist and songwriter Yulia Mishchenko at the helm. The band's name, derived from Aramaic, translates to "Little girl, arise!" Prior to "Таліта Кум," Mishchenko led other musical projects, including "Очеретяний Кварк" and "Знову за старе." The band released three albums: "Іноземці" (2002), "Гаряча і гірка" (2005), and "Шоу бізнес!" (2007). Their music blended pop and alternative rock elements. In 2005, they participated in the national selection for Eurovision with the song "Лови мене." After a hiatus between 2007 and 2009, the band reunited to record the single "Вірю," but eventually ceased active operations. Mishchenko also engaged in other ventures, including a recording label and an advertising agency.
